Geocache Description:

ChocolateTown Challenge North: Baker's Dozen++.

You are seeking a cache which is part of the ChocolateTown Challenge. The North Challenge is similar to The Baker's Dozen Challenge Cache which was the brain child of FireFighterJ out in the state of Washington. The difference is that Baker's Dozen++ needs to be on consecutive days.

The Challenge is to find caches on 13 consecutive days with a different number of finds on each of those days. The total finds per day do not need to be in any particular order. For instance, on day #1, you might find seven caches. On day #2 you might find sixteen caches. It will take you 13 days to complete this Challenge.

NOTE: Your cache finds DO NOT have to be in ChocolateTown, or even, Pennsylvania.

RULES:

1. No days with finds before April 10, 2011 are relevant to this Challenge in order to even out the playing field for everyone, therefore the earliest this cache can be found is April 23, 2011.

2. You may use a total of one unsigned cache (Virtual, Webcam or Earthcache) for the entire challenge. Example: Day three you find five Traditional Caches and one Virtual Cache. This could count as a day with 5 finds, OR 6 finds. If you use this day as 6 finds, then any other day that you find a Virtual, Webcam or Earth Cache that cache will not count towards your total finds for that day. Example: Day twelve you find one Traditional Cache and one Earth Cache. This would count as a day with 1 find since you already used your "unsigned cache" exception on Day three. (IF you used this as a day with 2 finds than Day three you could only count the five traditional finds and not the virtual. Call it a wild card if you want.)

3. For a cache to count it must be signed (exception: see rule above) therefore, Event Caches will count, if you sign a log. Challenges completed WILL NOT.

4. You may find more than 13 caches in one day but NOT the same amount as another day. Let's say that on 2 previous days you found 9 caches and 10 caches but not 8 caches in one day. While out caching you get a FTF on a new cache, just published, and find another cache that was disabled previously, plus the 8 caches you had already planned to find today. You might think that this could count for a day with 8 finds because you already had days of 9 finds and 10 finds. Wrong! You have now found 10 caches on 2 different days.

Example: I completed the Challenge, before publishing it, from December 31 through January 12 and had consecutive days with cache totals of: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 11, 14, 15, 16 and 35. Four of the days are more than 13 finds but not the same amount as any other day.

CLARIFICATION: This cache cannot be found and/or logged until AFTER you are eligible to find it. Therefore, if you find it on the 13th day it will increase your found total for the day by 1, which can not be the same amount as another day, see preceding rule.

CLARIFICATION #2: Whether you log this cache on the 13th day, or not, your total finds before finding and logging this cache cannot be the same total as another day, as you wouldn't be eligible to log it then.

To complete this Challenge cache, do the following:

1. Keeping in mind the requirements stated above, find and log the thirteen days of caching which consisted of a different amount of finds on each day.

2. Create a public bookmark called "ChocolateTown Challenge North - yourcachingname" which contains 14 cache names inside it. One cache from each day that you found on each of those thirteen days of caching (if you used the Virtual Cache exception please put that on you bookmark list for the corresponding day). Include in the comments field the date that the cache(s) were found and whether this was a 1-cache-day or a 17-cache-day or a 800-cache-day, etc. The 14th entry in this bookmark needs to be this ChocolateTown Challenge North: Baker's Dozen++ cache itself. It's fine to create the bookmark before you are done to track your progress. Just let me know when you are done.

I've added my bookmark showing how I completed the Challenge.

3. Once you complete your bookmark, post a note to this cache page for final approval. The final cache is a 1.5 star on difficulty.

4. The posted coordinates are the actual location of the cache.

5. Don't forget that you CAN find more than 13 caches in one day, just not the same amount as another day.

6. Write down the information on the log sheet as it will be necessary to find ChocolateTown Challenge: Rub-A-Dub-Dub (FINAL-ly).

GOOD LUCK and you must have fun!!
