Time for some Spring Cleaning! Geocaching season is under way. Let’s get together and take a day to ensure all of our area caches are in great shape and ready to be found. Meet your fellow cachers, have some food, check on some local caches, do a good deed, get caching karma, and reap the rewards of being a part of cooperative caching community. We’ll start and end the day together at the Neptune Diner.
There are 200+ caches within 10 miles of Oneona, Delhi, and Cooperstown. That’s a lot of caches to find. It’s a lot of caches to maintain. Fortunately, we have a large, generous, active group of Stuck In The Middle Cachers. Let’s see how many caches we can get ready for the prime caching season!
9:00 – 10:30 a.m. Breakfast & Coordination at the Neptune Diner
Come have breakfast, sign in to the event, and grab some “Cache Call Slips.”
We will have slips for most of caches in SITMC area. Pick an area, take the slips,
grab some needed cache maintenance supplies, and head out to make your maintenance run.
5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Dinner & Check-In & Awards at the Neptune Diner
Come back for dinner, log your “cache calls”, and reap the awards.
Prizes will be awarded for most caches visited, most cache maintenance done, farthest caches maintained, and other “cache karma” accomplishments. Everybody attending the event will be eligible for a prize!
Team-Ducky will also be unveiling brand new cache(s) at the dinner before they are posted on Sunday.
