Having trouble with puzzle caches? There are a lot of them out there. These pesky little devils seem to get filed in one of two places by most cachers. There are them that loves 'em and them that hates 'em. If you are in the latter category (or in the former and just want to practice), this may be the event for you.

We will have a series of puzzle caches to solve, all created by some of the master puzzle creaters in NOVAGO. The coordinates may be bogus but the techniques will be the same as you will use in real life. You can form "teams" or do them solo. Solve it first and we will put your name on the "FTF Board" (OK, so it is just a paper FTF, but you get bragging rights for the evening.)

Feel free to bring along some of the real-life puzzles that have been bothering you all along. I cannot guarantee that you will get them solved, but based on what you should be learning here, it can't hurt. And there could easily be someone attending who can help you on that particular one.

If you plan to attend, please indicate in the logs section. I need to bring paper copies of things and want to have enough for everyone. I will bring soft copies of the puzzles if you would prefer that format, but none of them will specifically require a system. I will try to have pdf, doc and ods formats so most folks should be covered.

There is free wifi at the library if you need it. I will also bring some homegrown tools that people might find useful. Having a perl interpreter would be a big help. And I will accept other tools if folks have them and want to contribute.
