A pleasant stroll along the Beeches Way public footpath close to Dropmore Church, with parking nearby or park at suggested co-ordinates at the Blackwood Arms and walk across the common.
No pencil. If you are quiet you might spot an adder nearby so be aware when you step off the path. Some lovely horses here The Beeches Way runs for about 16 miles from the River Thames bridge at Cookham to West Drayton with railway stations close to either end.
