The Yarmouth geocachers want to celebrate Yarmouth`s 250th birthday by hosting an event. The event is being co-sponsored by Yarmouth Recreation

New caches to be placed.

May 5,2011 -- Update: Yarmouth Recreation a joint Department of The Town & Municipility of Yarmouth will be launching a new geocoin to commerate Yarmouth's 250th Anniversary. Each geocaching team (for example H&Y Frosty) will receive one geocoin for attending the event.

We are pleased to announce that Eastriver as agreed to provide a walking stick as a prize for the event.
Each geocacher attending the event also has a chance to win one of two Garmin Dakota 20 GPS's.

Registration to begin at 10.00am

We will use the caches within the Recreation Complex as demo caches for new cachers.

Other activities will include closest to the pin.

MOST UNIQUE CACHE----Bring your most unique,different, unusal,cammoed container to be judged for best container.

Closing to start at 2.30pm. You must be present to win the two GPS Units and the Walking Stick.
