Come meet with other Nashua geocaching enthusiasts and form a team to clean up a part of the Mine Falls park! Bring your own trash bags and gloves. We will arrange for trash pick up and disposal at the end. At 4pm after the CITO event, meet with other teams who participated in the NashuaCLEAN wrap up event at "Margaritas" for snacks and drinks.
This CITO event is part of a larger initiative to clean up Nashua this Spring. Here is a paragraph from the NashuaCLEAN website (www.nashuaclean.org):
"You have visited our parks or downtown or walked and biked around town and seen some trash or litter and thought "someone should pick that up". That someone is YOU and ME and everyone in the community.
So NOW is the time to do something about it! By "now" I mean sign up now and join us for our first community even on April 3rd. Now also means you don't have to wait for a special event to take action every day to make a difference in your world and community."
The Mine Falls park has room for one, two or more teams, depending on how many people sign up. The more, the merrier!
We will meet at 1pm at the end of Coliseum Avenue. Park in the parking lot there and walk to the bridge. We can then divide in teams. At the end, we can all drive to Margaritas for snacks and drinks.
There are several caches in Mines Falls for you to enjoy before/after - or during the CITO event.
It's the first event of this type I am organizing, so I welcome all the help, ideas and support you can offer! Thank you!
