Having held events at
Britain's highest,
most westerly,
northerly and
southerly
points, (plus
England's most southerly) at last I go way out east, and invite
cachers to join me on at the extreme end of Lowestoft...
You may find
this link helpful, but not so useful now as it once was, since I've
shifted the event a bit to make it safer.
In addition to the above, I also currently own
Britain's most westerly cache, most
westerly physical cache,
mainland Britain's most westerly cache,
England's most westerly cache,
Britain's most northerly cache and its most
southerly...
When: Saturday the 14th of May (carefully missing Friday
the 13th - no need to tempt trouble!), at 1.30pm (BST, 12:30 GMT) -
Low tide! The event will run for a MINIMUM of 15 minutes at the
given - updated - co-ords. While not intended to be a flashmob
event, this is an explosed location and the weather may make it
unpleasent to stay on site longer... I also intend to walk out on
the breakwater
just to the north of the event but this looks pretty slippery
and IS NOT required to log this wheelchair-friendly event as
attended.
Where: The edge of Lowestoft in Suffolk - Ness Point - at
the given co-ords. There's a circular feature you shouldn't be able
to miss while walking as far east as you're able while still
keeping your feet dry.
What: A classic out-door cache meet, with coin and TB
swapping and chat about all things caching. It's also at lunch
time, so bring a sandwich.
Who: Cachers from far and wide, but an event of special
interest to cachers who enjoy their 'extreme' caching
(geographical) such as myself :)
