The footpath, which leads to Fort William from the car park, is well worth taking, giving fine views over the town and its environs. However, if you circumnavigate Cow Hill and follow the "La Passeggiata" cache series, then splendid views are to be seen at every stage (weather permitting!)
Located 160 paces S.E. from the "Braveheart" car park (built in 1994 to accommodate the film crew's vehicles), close to the picnic tables. I've had to replace the cache several times..... Container now is a piece of 22mm diameter tubing, 50mm long with screw-lids at both ends. It is attached to a permanent structure by a string. Please close TIGHTLY.
