This cache can be found on the summit of an 8145' mini sub-peak that's about .5 mi. east of the Emory Pass Vista. Round trip is < 2 mi./ gain ~ 500'.
Walk east from NM 152 @ Emory Pass on Forest Trail 796 to the west base of the peak; then hike up the northwest side to GZ (terrain rating applies to this route).
Judicious route selection will eliminate scrambling and minimize bushwhacking.
The cache is a micro, log only.
