Geocache Description:

An easy grab – just not a quick one. This is a beautiful hiking area that needed another cache to lure people out to see it – and a travel bug and a dollar coin for first to find.

Off the more gentle trail that gets you to/from So where’s the lake? and Oak Park Hilltop in that order.

Park at the suggested spot for Oak Park Hilltop and pick up the Saddle Pass Trailhead cache. This is also the starting point for Evil Dr. Rattleflaps Trap.

I went after and got these caches, and decided, like ChaosManor, to add a cache to this trail. I found a reasonable spot within a few feet of the trail on the uphill side [Note: This is the Saddle Pass trail, according to the COSCA Trail Map]. It’s a duct tape wrapped vitamin supplement bottle, with room for small trades, geocoins, naked travel bugs and the like. It’s got a pencil, but I always bring a pen
Great views of the backyards of very expensive houses.
