Go DAM Gogh Event Cache
FTFGuy: Had a great time in Colorado and an even greater time hosting this event. Thanks to hardcore cachers OneKindWord, Joe Friday, kaiwarrior, Killian33, and nickgatt for the warm welcome on a cold and snowy day! I gave out a few goodies at the meet & greet but I'm pretty sure I left with the most cool SWAG thanks to the generosity of Joe Friday. My sons and I found a few caches during our stay in Dillon and even took a few hours off to see The Hobbit at the local cineplex (after logging the cache outside). Our visit to the Van Gogh exhibit at the Denver Art Museum had to be delayed until Sunday morning after we spent a little too much time visiting the gravesite of Buffalo Bill, but the exhibition did not disappoint and we were glad to be able to take our time in enjoying the show. We are now safely back in Texas with lots of great memories! Thanks again to all who journeyed into the mountains to share fellowship and a cold pint of DAM Gogh de Garde! I'd give my left ear for another pint of the stuff!

Why Van Gogh? I'll tell you why. Van Gogh loved nature, just like geocachers! Van Gogh had a keen eye for the tiniest details, just like geocachers! Van Gogh loved to go on long walks – I'm talking seriously long walks now commonly referred to as "hikes," just like geocachers! Van Gogh was frequently hassled by the cops, just like geocachers! Van Gogh enjoyed a good pint of beer, just like geocachers! And finally, Van Gogh was nuts....
