CZ Keš je umístena poblíž obce Chabicov. Kolem prochází modrá turistická znacka, cca 300 metru od cache se nachází Josefcina studánka s pitnou vodou. Nedoporucuji lézt ke keši v teniskách, povrch je kamenitý, hrozí vyvrtnutí kotníku.
ENG Cache is placed near Chabicov village. Around leads blue hiking trail, and about 300 meters from cache is a water spring. I don't recommend you to wear sneakers, terrain is stony so there is a risk of ankle sprain.
CZ Tato keš vznikla na podporu povedomí verejnosti o cinnosti klubu vojenské historie v Olomouckém kraji.
FOB (Forward Operating Base = predsunutá základna) Maple ridge vznikla kolem roku 2000. O její výstavbu se zasloužili clenové 1. taktické roty Olomouc, následne pak 1st Infantry Division. Po letech necinnosti a rozpadu obou teles ji zacali spravovat clenové 173rd Airborne Brigade, základna však byla prozrazena a dnes se již nepoužívá. Byla by ale škoda nechat ji jen tak chátrat.
V prípade zájmu prosím opravte spadené strílny, zdi, navršte pár kamenu, umístete pytle s pískem/hlínou z vývratu nebo postavte vlastní "bunkr."
Do keše vkládejte prosím POUZE vojenské nášivky, odznaky nebo PRÁZDNÉ nábojnice. Dekujeme.
ENG This cache was created to promote public awareness on the activities of military history clubs in the Olomouc region.
FOB (Forward Operating Base) Maple Ridge was founded around 2000. It was primary build by 1st Tactical groop Olomouc, followed by 1st Infantry Division. After years of inactivity and decay of these groups, members of the 173rd Airborne Brigade started to repair the base. Unfortunatelly, it was revealed and today is no longer used. But it would be a shame to let it just fall into disrepair.
If interested, please correct loopholes collapsed, the wall does not matter a couple of stones, place bags of sand / soil from fallen trees or build your own "bunker."
