Geocache Description:

A 35mm film canister hidden within yards of the frontage to Hagley Station and its famous 'Hornby' bridge.

Hagley railway station serves the English village of Hagley, Worcestershire. It was opened in 1862 as part of the Oxford, Worcester and Wolverhampton railway. The station retains its GWR-era station building and its cast and wrought iron monogrammed GWR canopied footbridge dating from 1884. The footbridge was listed grade 2 in 2000 and the station and its environs sits within the West Hagley Conservation Area. The footbridge was apparently used by Hornby as the basis for its plastic model.
Please be aware that the footbridge and station area can be busy with lots of dog walkers and commuters, and numerous teenagers that use the bridge as a meeting place in the evenings.
The cache is located just within the local village park that can be reached from the station car park by a tiny footbridge over the brook. It is a 35mm film container with log and pencil.
The cache is located well clear of garden boundaries and is not situated within the station car park itself.
