Geocache Description:

Part of the Church Micro series.

This is a small cache rather than a micro and contains numerous items, some useful, some not.

St. Mary's Church, Great Henny, Essex.
This church was originally built by the Normans, which include the lower part of the tower.
The diagonal buttresses of the tower are 15th century and the broach-spire is early 18th century. Most of the rest of the church is 14th century.

St Mary's is a registered Small place of Pilgrimage.

If anybody would like to expand this series please do, I would ask that you could let Sadexploration know first so he can keep track of the Church numbers and names to avoid duplication.
