Geocache Description:

Congrats to HiDude_98 for the FTF honors!!!!!

Howdy! And welcome to the area!

We are celebrating the tenth (X) anniversary (ANN) of the very first ever geocaching event. It happened in Austin on March 24, 2001 at Scholz Beer Garten.

This cache (and any others with X-ANN in the name) is placed by a CenTex geocacher to commemorate this event.

We hope you are able to attend our celebration-GC2GA58 and the other related events. But if you miss it, well at least you can find one of the anniversary caches!

The posted coordinates get you to the correct spot, you then have to figure out what the container is or how to open it.

If you have any trouble and have to post a DNF, be sure to tell me if you want a clue. I will gladly point you in the right direction. As some of you may know, I hate DNFs!

BTW, a special thanks to Cubicyard & Squarfoot, two wonderful geocaching friends who gave me the container and that just happen to own one just like it.
It was the first cache that I attempted in my hometown. It is called PPP (GCP6YE) and has been around since 6/05. It is not a puzzle or mystery cache, although it might as well have been for me - I didn't have a clue!

I must have gone back to that cache 4 or 5 times before I found it. It drove me crazy for the better part of a week. And I only found it with help from another friend, otherwise I would probably still be out there today!

Thanks CY&SF for your many outstanding hides in the Rio Grande Valley and for this wonderful gift. This one is for you!!!!

This cache has been placed with full knowledge and permission of the Pflugerville City Manager and Parks & Rec. Director. It is hidden in a very public area, so please use common sense about the time you go looking.

You will need a tool at this one, but it is one most folks have handy or you can substitute 1-10 things in your pocket. Good Luck!
