Geocache Description:

Join volunteers from the Pilchuck Recreation Association in clearing downed trees and cutting brush in the Victoria Tract of the Pilchuck Tree Farm.

Meet at the large horse trailer lot by 9 a.m. on Saturday, April 9. We should be finished by 2 or 3 p.m., maybe sooner if we get a good group of riders and geocachers.

Wear boots and bring leather gloves--long pants and long sleeves of tough material will protect your limbs, too.

Bring 24" loppers if you have them.

PRA work party leaders ask that you not bring children because of the nature of the work and the use of power tools. (There's a CITO opportunity the next weekend at Howarth Park in Everett where kids are welcome to help out.)

There is one Portapotty (paid for by PRA--donations welcome!) in the horse trailer lot, and I will bring water, but be aware that there are no other "facilities." Bring a sandwich or a snack.

At the end of our project, there will be a drawing for prizes--if anyone would like to donate a prize, let me know!--and there will be a special souvenir for each geocaching account.
