This is the 1st of a series of 8 caches around East Midlands

main road. PLEASE DO NOT ATTEMPT TO PARK NEAR THIS CACHE, YOU WILL
BE STOPPED BY AIRPORT SECURITY.
This is a series of 8 caches distributed around East Midlands
Airport Nature Trail.
To do the whole series it is best to park in the carpark outside
the Aeropark - please note it's opening times (Apr-Oct 0800-2200,
Nov-Mar 0900-1700 and it's free). Parking is possible at some of
the other locations but not all, please be aware this is a high
security area.
DO NOT ATTEMPT TO PARK OR LEAVE YOUR CAR WHERE IT WILL PRESENT A
SECRURITY RISK, YOU MAY BE QUESTIONED OR WORSE ARRESTED.
The Nature Trail is approximately 7 miles long, over a variety of
surfaces. Some of the sections can be quite muddy at times. There
are a wide variety of things to see en-route as the trail takes in
all aspects of the airport.
Dotted around the trail are information boards relating to the
wildlife in that area and local information.
Inside the first 6 caches is information you will need to de-code
the 7th cache which will give you the location of the Mystery
Cache. Each box is a plastic clip container containing a log book,
clue, cache and a pencil. PLEASE ENSURE CACHES ARE NOT MOVED AS
THERE ARE RESTRICTIONS ON THEIR PLACEMENT - THANKYOU.
