Geocache Description:

Church Micro series- Magnetic Nano - St Mary's Church, Sundridge

If anybody would like to expand to this series please do, I would just ask that you could let Sadexploration know first so he can keep track of the Church numbers and names to avoid duplication

Sundridge is a village in Kent situated on the A25 between the Towns of Westerham and Sevenoaks. Sundridge Parish was created in 1894 making it one of the oldest parish councils in England. In fact, Sundridge was first recorded much earlier in the Doomsday book of William the Conqueror. The parish includes Sundridge and adjacent Ide Hill that nestle in the Green Belt an area of breath-taking natural beauty.

St Mary's church is a fine 13th century rebuilding of an early building. It consists of nave, north and south aisles, western tower and chancel. There is a chapel at the east end of the north aisle. The church is regrettably usually locked apart from the odd occasional day and on Sundays which id a shame as the inside is superb.
