Geocache Description:

This is a local piece of history. Elkford was built by the mining company that still mines coal in the area. The cache is hidden on a piece of mining equipment donated by the mines.

Sparwood has what used to be the worlds largest truck - we got the shovel.

It'll hit you like a bolt of lighting. Try to hold it all together when you look for this micro. Up top, down below - where could it be. You'll see green before all is said and done.

A wheelchair user will be able to get to the site in summer only due to snow accumulation in the winter. In the summer, wheeled folks should bring a friend in order to reach the hide.

Bring a pen - there is no room for any more than a log in this cache.
