A camouflaged and tethered 1 quart lock-n-lock cache next to the Broad River. Canoe access is best.
A very nice spot to watch the river go by, with fields in back of you and cool shady trees around you. Bring your binoculars for birdwatching, too.
CAUTION: ACCESS to the site VARIES!
Use a boat/canoe or, if you do not mind mud, a high clearance car/truck.
Difficulty depends on the weather and time of year. Beware of muddy or marshy conditions in wet or rainy season. Not accessible at high water conditions.
You can drive there if you have a high clearance, take your time, and are prepared to get stuck in mud. Do not drive there at all if it has recently rained or if the Broad River is at floodstage.
Canoe/kayak accessibility is best during very muddy times and should be great at all other times except very high water. If the river is at flood stage and is over the banks the cache will, understandably) be under water or inaccessible.
Be Careful and sneaky!! The landward side of the cache is a hunting area, be aware of hunting seasons and wear orange during those times.
