It is a Site of Nature Conservation Interest and has three distinctive areas for visitors to explore:

* The Deer Paddock' is an attractive grassy area with trees such as walnut and variegated sycamore
* The Lake' is a shady oasis for wildlife, fringed with trees
* The Valley' is the largest area of the park and has alder trees along its centre, marking the course of the Brockhill stream.

We will meet at the above coordinates between 11.00am and 2.00pm in the tea room or out in the garden.

Also on the cards at 12:00 is the launch of the Transmanche Treasure series. 12 caches, 3 regulars and a mystery in Kent, the same in France and Belguim. This series will have a great set of FTF prizes. Keep your eyes open for more information. Paper copies of the cache details will be made availble at 12:00 for those without remote internet access. for more details keep an eye on the Explore Kent pages. (visit link)

This venue, although not at a pub, has a tea room and facilities needed for a fun, family friendly day out.

Note: The Kent part of the Transmanche Treasure series is around the coast so you may have to do some driving around the county if you want to collect them all, which can easily be done in a day or half a day if planned well and start early.
