Park Traugutta powstal w 1925 roku; zaprojektowali go Leon Danielewicz i Stanislaw Zaroda Zycienski. Upamietnia smierc generala Romualda Traugutta, dyktatora Powstania Styczniowego, który zostal stracony wlasnie na tym terenie. Glówna atrakcja parku jest Fort Legionów, wzniesiony w latach 1852-1854 dla ochrony Cytadeli Warszawskiej.

Park Traugutta was built in 1925, according to the project of Leon Danielewicz and Stanislaw Zaroda-Zycienski. It commemorates death of general Romuald Traugutt, dictator of January Uprising, who has been executed here. Main attraction of the park is Legionow Fortress, built in 1852-1854 to protect Warsaw Citadel.
