This regular size cache is in an green ammo can with trading items
at ground level.
This is a nostalgic cache for me. I was born in Elsas in a house at
the end of the government dock with my grandma helping my mom. We
explored this island as little kids after the gulls had hatched. I
spent many years on the patch of land across the lake. One of the
best things about living here was train days. That was the day we
got to go across the lake to town to pick up the mail and play with
the other kids. If you look you can see the white buildings on the
point. My dad was a tourist outfitter and today my brother Richard
and his wife Evelyn are still there. If you're here in the spring
you might just find us all here working a little, laughing a lot,
catching fish to eat and playing cards late into the night (at
least until eleven o'clock). Enjoy the cache and the journey it
took you to get here.
