Nag! Nag! Nag!
You will be searching for a custom cache container that holds a tube on the underside (after you do your chores of course)
Deer Grove is my favorite Forest Preserve. I grew up not far from here and would visit often when I was younger. This was one of the first areas in Cook Co., if not the first to be saved as a preserve. This cache is to honor all preserves with their Flora and Founa.
As a youngster we would pole fish along the banks, and hand fish at the spillway, ride our bikes on what was the trails back in the day. The toboggan shutes were great in the winter...and the summer with a wagon. I remember when the entrance was open at Quentin and Dundee Rds., and driving on the orange trail. Getting stormed on as a pre-teen several times, hiking/exploring before it has the trails it does now. Found several foundations, watched a home moved off the preserve to Hicks Rd. A famous settler, George Ela lived in a cabin by Lake/Cook & Quentin Rds, and a train used to run through here almost a hundred years ago - I don't remember the last two.
This is one of those places where the coords may be different from day to day.
PLEASE Replace as found so the next hunter will find as intended.
