Please join us in celebrating 11 years of geocaching in Utah at
Potter's Ponds, near the site of the first geocache in the state.
The group campsite #6 is reserved Friday, August 12th through
Sunday, August 14th, 2011. Feel free to camp in the group site or
reserve your own (those with trailers or RVs will likely need their
own site), or simply show up for the day on Saturday.
For those who are up for a little hiking, on Saturday morning
(probably sometime between 9:00 and 10:00) we'll be leaving to
drive up to Skyline Drive, then hiking North Tent Mountain and
South Tent Mountain. A high-clearance 2WD vehicle is necessary, 4WD
may be required if conditions are wet. The hike should be around 4
miles total, with an elevation gain of about 800 feet. We'll plan
on being back at camp well before the potluck is set to begin at
6:00PM.
We'll be having a potluck dinner on Saturday, August 13th at
6:00PM, please bring something to share.
