We have spoken with the landlord Colin and his team and not only
are they looking forward to giving us a warm welcome they are very
intrigued by what Geocaching is all about!
Colin has given us the use of the function suite
which can sit one hundred, so we hope there will be enough room for
the increasing numbers of attendees.
The bar is over 50 feet long all made from a single piece of
wood. There are real ales available which are served straight from
the barrel.
There is a
bar snack menu which Colin will keep available past the normal
8pm as well as daily specials for around £10.
Food should be ordered on the night, if you can post Will Attend
logs as soon as you decide to come that will enable us to tell the
pub some idea of numbers.
As is now traditional there will be a raffle and the red ammo
box will be available for swapping and discovering Geocoins and
Travel Bugs.
There will be plenty of opportunity to exchange caching stories
and prise hints out of fellow cachers about the local puzzles, so
please do come along.
If you have not been to an event cache before, would like to
experience something different, and have the chance to meet other
cachers then please come along.
You can be assured of a warm welcome, we will be there from
6.30pm.
