While placing this cache, a brand new Audi A4 came thundering down this dirt road at a really high speed, and churned up a huge dust cloud. We were covered in dust and we felt like we were the "Sand People" from the Planet "Tatooine" of Star Wars fame.
And since we are avid Star Wars fans, here is some info. about the desert planet and its people:
Tatooine is a fictional planet and setting for many key scenes in the Star Wars saga, appearing in every Star Wars film except The Empire Strikes Back, although it is mentioned at the end of the movie. Since it is the home planet of Anakin Skywalker and Luke Skywalker, it is also one of the most iconic planets in the Star Wars universe.
Tatooine is a desert planet in a binary star system. It once had large oceans full of marine based life and a world-spanning jungle, but this biosphere was destroyed when the myopic Rakata razed the planet, drying up its riverbeds and boiling away its oceans.
Tusken Raiders (or Sand People) are fictional creatures in the Star Wars universe. They are characterized as a nomadic warrior race that lives on the planet Tatooine.
Tusken Raiders first appear in Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope when a pack of them attack Luke Skywalker in the Jundland Wastes and knock him unconscious. Just as they are about to carry him away, however, Obi-Wan Kenobi frightens them off and rescues Luke.
