While I feel that Geocaching.com should hold the location for the cache owner and block other cachers from placing a cache in the area around this cache for a reasonable amount of time, we can’t do so forever.

Nothing seems to happen with this cache listing, so it is now archived, so that someone else can place a cache in the area, and geocachers can once again enjoy visiting this location. Also, if it hasn’t been done already, please pick up any remaining cache bits as soon as possible.

(This reviewer note is in English so non-Norwegian cache owners, geocachers and cache reviewers can understand what it says.)

Forskningsparken er navnet på dette området som ligger i Gaustadbekkdalen. Området inneholder i umiddelbar nærhet flere større bygninger og institusjoner:

Forskningsparken i Oslo

Forskningsparken i Oslo er en samling av 140 små og store bedrifter, og huser totalt 1800 ansatte. Forskningsparken i Oslo er et senter for forskning og innovasjon, og består av 5 bygg.[1]

Ole-Johan Dahls hus

Ole-Johan Dahls hus ble innflyttet Januar 2011, og huser Institutt for Informatikk ved Universitetet i Oslo. Byggeprosjektet ble til for å samle informatikkstudiene, sikre UiOs IT-infrastruktur, samt opparbeide en campus i Gaustadbekkdalen, for Institutt for informatikk ved UiO og øvrige samarbeidspartnere i område. Bygget har gjennomgående etasjer fra 1 til 4. I sørenden er det 5 etasjer, mens det i norddelen er en høyblokk på 10 etasjer. Bygget er oppkalt etter en kjent norsk informatiker[2]

Kristen Nygaards hus

Kristen Nygaards hus var frem til 2011 kjent som Informatikkbygningen. Bygget inneholder USIT og Norsk Regnesentral. Bygget stod klart i 1988. Som Ole-Johan Dahls hus er også dette bygget oppkalt etter en kjent norsk informatiker.

SINTEF

SINTEF er Skandinavias største forsknings-konsern som selger forskningsbasert kunnskap og tilhørende tjenester basert på innsikt i teknologi, naturvitenskap, medisin og samfunnsvitenskap. Det fulle navnet var, inntil en vedtektsendring i 2007, «Selskapet for industriell og teknisk forskning ved Norges tekniske høgskole». I dag er SINTEF organisasjonens fulle navn.

Gaustadbekken

Det er over femti år siden sist Gaustadbekken gikk over bakken.[3] Det ble under byggeprosjektet av Ole-Johan Dahls hus diskutert om bekken skulle opp i dagslys, men vannkvaliteten ble sett på som for dårlig, derfor laget man et vannspeil som skulle representere Gaustadbekken.

Forskningsparken i Oslo is a collection of 140 small and lager businesses, and houses a total of 1800 people. Forskningsparken in Oslo is a center for research and innovation, and consists of 5 building-parts.[1]

Ole-Johan Dahls house

Ole-Johan Dahls house was opened in January 2011, and houses the Institute of informatics at the university of Oslo. The goal of the project was to to gather the informatics studies, secure UiO's IT-infrastructure and create a campus in Gaustadbekkdalen for informatics and nearby partners in the area. The buildings 1-4 plan runs through the whole building. In south the small tower has 5 floors, and the north tower has 10 floors[2]. The building is named after a famous Norwegian computer scientist

Kristen Nygaards hus

Kristen Nygaards was until 2011 known as the informatics-building. The building now contains USIT and Norwegian computation center. The building was raised in 1988. This building as well is named after a famous Norwegian computer scientist.

SINTEF is Scandinavia's largest research group which sells research based knowledge and corresponding services, based on technology, nature-science, medicine and social science.

Gaustadbekken

50 years ago, the gaustad-creek flow through this wally[3]. During the building project of Ole-Johan Dahls hus, it was discussed whether the creek should be taken back above the ground. Due to bad water quality, the pond was made, to symbolize the creek.
