Geocache Description:

Find Colonel Mustard's cache and collect evidence in the case of Dr Black's murder. Use your detective skills to discover the killer, the murder weapon and the crime scene and then locate the missing body (GC2NN3T) to bring the culprit to justice. This cache will test your ability to search a location for evidence.

There's foul play on the Herts-Beds border and you have been called in to investigate the suspected murder of Dr Black, owner of Tudor Mansion. It's only suspected because we cannot find the body! Dr Black invited six guests for the weekend and some time very early on Sunday morning the host disappeared. His guests all fled the house; each with a guilty conscience ... but only one was responsible for Dr Black's disappearance.

You are Inspector Cluedo and your challenge is to solve the crime and find the body. Each of the suspects has hidden their potentially incriminating evidence in a cache on familiar ground where they feel safe. Visit each cache and inspect the evidence you find. There will be three cards in each to enable you to eliminate suspects, weapons or locations from your enquiries. When you have the solution visit Inspector Cluedo: Dr Black for the final stage instructions. Good Luck, Inspector, because each cache will test a different detection skill.

Little Offley is no more than a hamlet, 1.5 miles north of its larger sister, Great Offley, where you will find two welcoming village pubs to break your caching day.

Colonel Mustard is career military. Having joined the army aged 18, he moved up through the ranks quickly and retired at 60 with distinction. He was an expert survivalist and back-woodsman, instructing generations of recruits. It is suspected that Colonel Mustard has headed for the woods near Little Offley, but his exact location is unknown. However, a radio transmission has been intercepted from the area and it is thought that it contains a clue to the location of Colonel Mustard's evidence.

Proceed with care. The old army lag is a cunning fox who will use all of his experience to protect his cache. Expect it to be very well hidden.

The coordinates at the top of the page are for the general environs of Little Offley and we already know that the cache is not here, so don't waste time covering old ground.

The cache is a small plastic box holding personal items belonging to Colonel Mustard, three cards to advance your enquiries and an access code on the lid to use the Inspector Cluedo Suggestion Site. Please leave all evidence in the cache for the next detective and hide the cache exactly as you found it.
