Geocache Description:

The eleventh of Water Slider's series of walks on the footpaths around the villages of north and north east Leeds.

This is a four mile circular walk from the village of Shadwell on public bridleways and footpaths. The walk could be split into two smaller walks, #1 to #6 (2.5 miles) and #7 to #10 (2 miles). Please note after rain parts of the walk could be muddy.

There are ten caches and a bonus, if you do all ten, most, but not all have information which will allow you to find the bonus cache.

There are a few other caches on or near the route.

Parking is available on Colliers Lane, we parked at N 53° 51.150 W 001° 28.973, alternative parking is available around the village.

After parking at the suggested place walk down Colliers Lane towards Main Street, where you turn right, continue along Main Street and just past the fish and chip shop take a left down Old Brandon Lane. Follow this lane all the way to the end, go over the stile and into the field, take the path diagonally to the right through the field until you go over another stile.

This is a film canister
