Vom Punkt N 53° 47.091 E 9° 24.905 in der Nähe des Caches hat man eine schöne Aussicht auf den Außenhafen von Glückstadt. Links sieht man den Außenhafen, der für den regionalen Massen- und Stückgutverkehr gedacht ist und Industrie und Landwirtschaft in der Region versorgt. Davor befindet sich der Liegeplatz des Zollbootes Glückstadt. Geradeaus befinden sich einige Liegeplätze der Seglervereinigung Glückstadt (SVG). Weitere Liegeplätze befinden sich im Binnenhafen, der durch das Sperrwerk mit dem Außenhafen verbunden ist. Das Sperrwerk seht ihr auf der rechten Seite. Es kann ca. 2 Stunden vor Hochwasser geöffnet werden. Auf der gegenüber liegenden Seite befindet sich der Molenkieker, wo man eine sehr schöne Aussicht auf die Elbe geniessen kann. Daneben findet ihr einige Stellplätze für Wohnmobile. Der Weg endet schließlich auf der Nordermole. Direkt am Seglerhafen wird der Rhin über Pumpen entwässert. Einen Blick auf den Rhin könnte ihr werfen, wenn ihr euch umdreht.
Bitte versteckt den Cache wieder genau so, wie ihr ihn vorgefunden habt, damit der Nachfolger es nicht so schwer hat.
From point N 53° 47.091 E 9° 24.905 not far from the cache you have a nice view onto Glückstadt´s outer harbor. To your left you can see the outer harbor, which is used for regional bulk and general cargo and supplies the industry and agriculture in the region. Located in front is Glückstadt´s customs boat berth. Straight ahead are some berths belonging to the sailors association in Glückstadt (SVG). More berths are in the inland port, connected through the barrier with the outer harbor. The barrier is located on your right. It can be opened about 2 hours before high tide. On the opposite side is the Molenkieker where you can enjoy a beautiful view of the Elbe. Glückstadt´s RV park is located next to the Molenkieker. The street finally ends at the Nordermole. Right at the sailing harbor the small river “Rhin” is drained by pumps. You can spot the Rhin when turning around.
