Kent County Cachers Monthly Meet #18 Event Cache

This cache has been archived.

Fab JABS: The last person who signed the log book has logged online so it must be time to archive this now. There is one last coin missing in action but I imagine it will turn up in due course. Thanks for attending, see you at the next event, Julie.

Geocache Description:

The March Kent Meet.

March 19th 12pm - 4pm.

The Oldies decided it was time we jointly hosted a monthly event with Slumped so here it is.

As you can’t get much further north in Kent than us, we apologize to the “southerners” for the possible inaccessibility of this event. To make up for it, at least there should be a large number of caches to find that have previously been that little bit too far from home.

You are still welcome even if you don't live in Kent so we look forward to seeing a few SELBAC eventers.

If you are a premium member, Jazzyjessups has left a large number of puzzle caches for you to solve before the day.

Here are a selection of the local caches if you want to take a look, and which of us wouldn’t?
The Path to Rowhill by Nella_Strada (GC1Y9Z9)
Enjoy D's Wood by heartstones1 (GCPC8C)
Scouting Around JW -Beavers by groovy_gav (GC25CHZ)
COALPOST # 207 by Sayer Voyager's (GC1WCV6)
Church Micro 397 - Swanley Village by ginger4x4 (GC1JKDT)
Rowhill wander # 1 of 3 by probbins2000 (GC2G9DT)
Parklife three by jazzyjessups (GC2KEXP)
Dartford Heath - Travel Bug Hotel by Traxxasman11 & Cardea (GC2ET3A)

Want to look at the menu? Try this: The Ship, Wilmington

As you can see from the website, dogs and children are welcomed but dogs must be on a lead, there are animals and play equipment in the garden.

The pub serves food from midday until 6pm, we will be there from midday until 4pm so feel free to stagger your arrival especially as it isn't a huge venue. If you could indicate the number of your party probably eating, the landlady would be extremely grateful.

We look forward to seeing you on the day.

The pub seems to get busier from 2pm.

I discovered, by accident, that if you click on the cache icon on the map on this page it will display nearby caches!
