While I feel that Geocaching.com should hold the location for the cache owner and block other cachers from placing a cache in the area around this cache for a reasonable amount of time, we can’t do so forever.

Nothing seems to happen with this cache listing, so it is now archived, so that someone else can place a cache in the area, and geocachers can once again enjoy visiting this location. Also, if it hasn’t been done already, please pick up any remaining cache bits as soon as possible.

(This reviewer note is in English so non-Norwegian cache owners, geocachers and cache reviewers can understand what it says.)

Oslo - Museum of Contemporary Art (MoCA)

This is the Museum of Contemporary Art in Oslo. Here you will find temporary exhibitions of work by both domestic and international artists. The museum also owns over 5000 pieces of art made since 1945. The collection covers a broad spectrum of genres and media: painting, print-making, drawing, photography, sculpture, objects, installation and video-art. Three installations are on permanent display: the sculpture Shaft by Richard Serra, Per Inge Bjørlo’s Inner Room V, and Ilya Kabakov’s The Garbage Man: The Man Who Never Threw Anything Away.

As cache owner, I challenge everyone who logs this cache to upload an image of "contemporary art" to make a nice picture gallery of crazy and unexpected motifs. Some of these images (the most "creative", " inovative" and/or "unexpected") will be on permanent display on the cache listing web page with credits to the artist(s)!! GO CRAZY

Dette er museun for samtidskunst i Oslo. Her finner du midlertidige utstillinger av arbeider av både norske og internasjonale kunstnere. Museet eier over 5000 arbeider laget etter 1945. Samlingen dekker et bredt spekter av sjangrer og medier: malerier, trykk, tegninger, fotografier, skulpturer, objekter, installasjoner og videokunst. Bankplasssen

The square in front of the cache and the museum is known as Bankplassen - The Bank Square. It is named after the National Bank that has been situated in three different buildings around the square. The first building (Bankplassen nr. 3) was used from 1828 to 1906, when the National Bank moved to Bankplassen no. 4 - where the museum of Contemporary art is now located. In Bankplassen no. 3, you will find a museum for Architecture. In 1986, the National Bank was once more moved to a new building - this time at address Bankplassen no. 2. At Bankplasssen no. 1 you will find the old but fashonable restaurant Engebret Cafe. The Bankplasssen used to be the more fashonable square in Oslo.
