Church Micro 1565...Bolnhurst
This cache is a 35mm film canister. It contains a log and a pencil, but best bring your own pen / pencil just in case. Please note that the final cache is located outside the churchyard and is NOT accessible from inside the churchyard.
Note for future searchers : look before you fumble! There's a birds nest at GZ (as unlikely as that might seem when you arrive). It's not in use at present, but I don't know whether its occupants will return next year. Thanks to simplysup for this info 2/11/12.

Bolnhurst is a small parish 7 miles north of Bedford on the main road to Kimbolton. Its area is 2,333 acres, of which over half is arable land.
The village school closed in 1951. The chapel closed in the latter part of the 20th century. The Fox and Hounds public house closed in 1960 and the shops ceased to trade many years ago. The village currently consists of approximately 60 homes and a pub.
The parish church of St. Dunstan occupies an isolated position on high ground some distance from the village. The rectory, half a mile distant, stands in large grounds in which traces exist of a moat and fish-pond.
The church of St. Dunstan consists of a chancel 23 ft. 8 in. by 18 ft. 2 in., a nave 50 ft. 8 in. by 21 ft. 9 in. and a west tower 13 ft. 4 in. by 13 ft. 2 in.
The chancel dates in part from the first half of the 13th centry. while the oldest parts of the nave are from the 15th century; its walls are, however, on the lines of earlier work, and the 15th-century west tower is built against them with a straight joint. The south porch also dates from the fifteenth century. The tower and nave walls are finished with embattled parapets. In the southeast corner of the nave is a fine marble monument to Sir John Franklin, 1707 with his arms. In the window near by are the same arms, dated 1709.
The isolated location gives St. Dunstan's a great sense of peace and tranquility.
To find the location of the final cache, you will need to find the resting place of Harriet Mary Harvey and her daughters at the listed coordinates. Please be respectful in the churchyard. You will need to find out when she died (ABth April CDEF).
The final cache can be found at N 52° 12.(C+D)B(A-C) W 000° 25.A(A+C+F)E
PLEASE TAKE CARE IF WALKING ALONG THE ROAD. IT WAS BUSY AT THE TIME OF PLACING THE CACHE AND THERE IS NO FOOTWAY.
If anybody would like to expand to this series please do, I would just ask that you could let Sadexploration know first so he can keep track of the Church numbers and names to avoid duplication.
