How to find Panormo?
On the New Road (63 km West of Iraklion and 21 km East of Rethymno) there is an exit with a signpost leading to Panormo. The recommended parking area is located South - East of the harbor on N 35° 25.118 E 024° 41.604
Some hundred meters East from here you will find a dirty road to cape Chondrocavos with a door in the fence on N 35° 25.175 E 024° 41.685. With a walk about 20 minutes the way leads to the peak of the path at N 35° 25.520 E 024° 42.042. From here to the cache it is a distance about 165 meters but there is only an animal´s path to go. After a while the small lighthouse can be seen. The cache is located near the lighthouse.
The cache is a small one with: Logbook, the Geocache Site, pencil, sharpener and an item to trade.
Searching for this cache wear good shoes and we recommend urgently not to go the last 165 meters in stormy weather!
After logging please hide the cache well and put all stones back into the rock to fix it.

Panormo village is a further walk worth. It retains a warm and friendly, traditional atmosphere. With its narrow streets, the port and its restaurants it is a nice place for relaxing here a while after caching.
