Kolejka wilanowska byla pierwsza podwarszawska waskotorówka. Poczatkowo miala trakcje konna, a letnie wagony przypominaly otwarte wagony tramwajowe. Zatwierdzenie budowy nastapilo w listopadzie 1890 r., zas prace zaczeto w kwietniu 1891 r. Inicjatorami budowy byli: wlasciciel wielu gruntów na Mokotowie Wiktor Magnus, inz. Henryk Huss i Jan Keller. Linia zostala oficjalnie uruchomiona w maju 1892 r. Niebawem kolejka przezyla prawdziwa rewolucje. Trakcja konna zostala bowiem zamieniona na parowa. Próby z parowozem zaczely sie w sierpniu 1894 r., a juz we wrzesniu parowozy zaczely kursowac od Warszawy po Wilanów.
W 1895 roku trasa kolejki wydluzyla sie. Najpierw w czerwcu pociagi dotarly do Powsina (stacja byla ulokowana u zbiegu obecnych ulic Przyczólkowej i Rosochatej ), a nastepnie w sierpniu zaczely kursowac do Klarysewa.
Istniejacy budynek stacji pochodzi z lat 20-tych XX wieku. Podobnie jak w przypadku stacji w Wilanowie jego projekt wyszedl spod reki Konstantego Jakimowicza. Jako dworzec sluzyl do 1971 roku, kiedy to zlikwidowano kolejke. Przez lata mial róznych gospodarzy, ale calkiem nie dawno przeszedl generalny remont i zagoscil w nim urzad pocztowy.

Malutka plastikowa próbówka z magnesami, zostala ukryta za jedna z rynien. W srodku tylko logbook, wiec prosze zabrac ze soba cos do pisania.
Poniewaz okolica jest mocno uczeszczana (sasiedztwo przystanku autobusowego i parkingu dla osób zwiedzajacych Palac w Wilanowie), a z poczty w tygodniu korzysta sporo ludzi. zalecam szukanie w dni wolne od pracy wczesnym rankiem, albo póznym wieczorem.

Queue Wilanowska was the first narrow-gauge track near Warsaw. Initially it was a horse-traction, and the summer open wagons resembled trams. Approval of the construction in November of 1890, while work began in April 1891, the initiators of the building were: Victor Magnus - owner of the many land at Mokotow, Eng.
