SideTracked caches are not designed to take you to a magical place with a breath taking view. They are just a distraction for the weary geocaching traveller, but anyone else can go and find it too. This cache has been set to create a cache and dash near Ridgmont Station. The cache is not located located on railway property but is only a very short stroll from the station. Ridgmont station is to the north of the village of the same name. It is situated on the Marston Vale Line. The station is managed by London Midland. The station is between Lidlington to the east and Aspley Guise to the west. There is an hourly service in each direction, except on Sundays when the line is closed. Ridgmont is also home to the signalling centre for the line. The station is used by about 29,000 muggles per year. The cache is a magnetic 35mm container. It contains a log and a pencil, though I recommend you bring your own just in case (especially as I'm told it might have one astray). Please take care when replacing the lid as it is a tight fit.
