Myrland beach is a beautiful spot all year round.
The cache is a 0,3 litre "Curver-type" plastic container. Its initial content is a logbook, pencils and a few trade items.
In the summer you can get a perfect view of the midnight sun, and during winter -if you are lucky- you can get a beautiful view of the northern light (aurora borealis). It is also a great place for camping, but beware not to put your tent too far east (below the mountain), as rocks often fall from it.
From the cache location you also have a nice view towards the old pier which is built by very big rocks, but still has been partially destroyed by violent winter storms and ocean waves.
PS! During june-august there is a lot of nettles (Norsk: Brennesle) surrounding the cache location. Cover your skin before walking through.
