The Church of St. David & St. Cyfelach, Llangyfelach
The site dates back to the 6th Century:
St. David the Patron Saint of Wales founded an early Celtic monastery there.
The present church has a 12th Century detached tower and a converted tithe barn as the present church.
Contained within the church is the Llangyfelach Cross, a 9th Century Celtic stone
The church attached to the tower was destroyed by a storm in 1803

It is stroller accessible until you get about 10 ft from the cache so please be aware of this.
There is ample free parking outside the church but this may not always be so subject to weddings or services.
There is a bus stop nearby and the service 35 from Swansea Quadrant bus station stops there.
