A short off set Church Micro at St John the Evangelist Church, West Ashton Trowbridge.
St John the Evangelist church was built in 1846 by the Long family of Rood Ashton Hall, the white building you see in the distance to the east. The church has a number of interesting features including a minstrel’s gallery and a fine war memorial east window. Unfortunately the church is locked when unattended but you may be lucky to time it when someone is present, if you do be sure to have a look in.
