Royal Sevens Mystery Cache

This cache has been archived.

The A-Team: This cache has required the most maintenance of all of my caches, so I've finally decided to archive it. It had a good 5+ year run. All of the tacks and the final container have been removed.

Geocache Description:

***This is a night cache. Don't attempt it during the daytime***

This cache was hidden as part of the 7th Hide-&-Go. It's a night cache in the trails of Royal Roads. In the spirit of this year's theme of "7", I made the route 777 m long. The route is flat, and the trails are pretty well-worn, but you'll still need to watch for roots.

From the starting coordinates, look around for a firetack which will point you in the right direction. Holding your flashlight near your eyes gives the best results, but keep in mind that the tacks are above eye level. There are two different shapes of firetacks, but the shapes have no meaning. Keep going until you spot two firetacks together, which mark the final. There are a total of 12 tacks, plus the two at the end. It's about 150m between the first two, but the rest are closer together and are usually near intersections so you know which way to go, plus a few in between. There is an unactivated 2010 Canadian Navy Centennial micro-coin for the FTF.
