The Preamble:

Unlike Ontario's Public Holidays Challenge Cache most of these dates are not recognized as holidays. Yet some of us observe these days in one form or another.

The Rules:

  • You only need to find 9 caches but you must find one on each of the above days and yes Toilet Day is one of them!
  • Only finds logged after publication of this cache qualify for this challenge. Finds logged prior to publication of this cache do not qualify for this challenge. Yes this means that the first to find will occur almost a year after the publication of this cache but this makes it fair for everyone.
  • Caches do not have to be found in the same calendar year nor do they have to be found only in the province of Ontario.
  • If you are a premium member, you should create a public Bookmark which includes your caching name in the title. It must also include the 9 qualifying caches that you have found which meet the requirements of this challenge. You should then link your Bookmark to the cache page. In the comments field of each of the caches in the Bookmark, state the date (including the name of the day) on which you found the cache. If you are not a premium member, in your Found It log, please include the 9 qualifying cache names, GC codes, and dates (including the name of the day) for when you found each of the 9 qualifying caches.
  • This cache cannot be used to meet the requirements of this challenge.
  • Any posted finds that do not meet the requirements of this challenge will be deleted.
  • One last thing, you can only have one cache type in a row, column or diagonal.

For example:

  • If you find a Traditional on Groundhog Day then the only other days you can claim a find on a Traditional for this challenge cache would be on Halloween or Toilet Day.
  • If you find a Mystery on St. Patrick's Day then the only other days you can claim a find on a Mystery for this challenge cache are on Towel Day, Halloween Day, Remembrance Day or on the Anniversary of the Statute of Westminster.
  • If you find a Multi on Halloween, then the only other days you can find a Multi for this challenge cache are on Groundhog Day, St. Patrick's Day, Remembrance Day or Toilet Day.
  • Whatever cache type you find on the Summer Solstice cannot be used elsewhere for this challenge. Seems only fitting that this day is in the centre of the grid as it it the longest day of the year.

If you wish to discuss/commisserate or just generally berate this cache a
forum has been created for you to vent/rage/express your disdain/dislike/appreciation/fondness.

Many thanks to an unnamed cacher (BQ - cough, cough) for the inspiration behind this cache.
