Geocache Description:

Farmersville has asked us back for a third year!

The past two years have been a real success and a whole lot of fun!

We are holding this event in conjunction with Farmersville's Farmers and Fleas Market.

Time: The CITO event will begin at 9:00 AM on Saturday, but you may come anytime.
Location: Audie Murphy Trailhead, Farmersville, TX.

When you arrive sign up at our Geocaching table near the trailhead on the East side of the Onion Shed.
There will be Hot Coffee and Doughnuts.
The CITO event will be along the 2.5 miles of concrete and paved trail heading North through and out of town.

Please leave all trash bags and other items near streets and roads that cross the trail for easy pickup.
We will have transportation from the end of the trail back to the trailhead.

There will be a Meet and Greet Event at 5:00 PM down town Farmersville at Daddy-O's Doo Wop Diner.
Prizes and great food will be enjoyed by all. Last year we packed the house.
They closed the restaurant just for us!

The Chaparral Trail is a Rails-to-Trails project that extends from Farmersville all the way to Paris, TX.  There are nearly 250 caches along the trail with most between Farmersville and Wolfe City. If you cache further than the paved trail you might want to arrange to go in groups and plan the transportation.  Plan for the weather with clothing and water.
Don't forget to be back by 5:00 PM for the Meet and Greet.

Please contact me if you need more information, would like to volunteer, or donate prizes to be given away at the Meet and Greet.

This is a great biking trail, bring your bike if you have a good trail bike.

There will be other fun things to do that we are brainstorming on so,
CHECK BACK OFTEN FOR UPDATES.
