Geocache Description:




This event is part of a multi-event, held in conjunction with 9 other locations - Texas, Michigan, Washington, South Carolina, California, Minnesota, Utah, Germany and The Netherlands, to celebrate Mardi Gras.

After a full day of caching, come and celebrate Mardi Gras SWPA style at this meet-n-greet. This is a family friendly get-together. Come when you can and leave when you need to.

You are encouraged to wear Mardi Gras colors...green, purple or gold...or all 3. Extra door prize tickets will be given to those that do (your clothing must predominantly include these colors to qualify...just adding a necklace or sticker does not count).

We will meet from 5-8pm on Saturday, February 26th at:

The coordinates will take you to the cafe door. Enter here and go up the stairs to the left (an elevator is available for those who need it). We have the private room reserved. Plenty of dining options are available in the Market District restaurant downstairs if you are hungry...from nutella crepes to sushi.

In keeping with the tradition of Mardi Gras doubloons, a geocoin was produced for these events. This trackable geocoin measures in at 2" and includes 8 rhinestones, a two-tone satin gold and shiny silver finish and an intricate cut-out design. Each event location has its own color scheme; ours is should in the mint photo below. Only a limited amount of this version were minted, so we are limiting reservations to 3 per cacher and are for event attendees ONLY. Specific details regarding geocoin reservations will be posted soon, but feel free to include your requests in your "will attend" log. ALL COINS RESERVED. Don't forget to add this event on your watch list for future updates.
