Announcing the 1st annual

"It's Great to See DST!  A Breakfast Event"

Saturday March 12, 2011

Daylight Savings Time is coming back March 13th, and Spring officially begins just one week later.  That means we all get to play a little longer and in nicer weather!  You remember staying out later than 6:00 in nice weather, don't you? Come and celebrate the return of DST, longer days, and warmer temps with us, as dozens of cachers get together for a good hot breakfast, some great conversation, and more!

Where, you ask?

Golden Corral Buffet and Grill
4720 E. New York Street  (posted coordinates)
Aurora, near Fox Valley Mall
(630)499-9415
Michael Lotti, General Manager

And when should you be there?

We'll kick things off at 7:30, and we'll wrap things up at about 9:00 (Try to be there early for the Early Bird Raffle at 8:15 sharp!) We'll have a banquet room reserved as well as overflow seating.  We're hoping for a big crowd, so pick up  Aunt Lucille from the retirement home and bring her, and be sure to bring all of the grandkids!  We checked this place out, and they have a great crew that's really going to take care of us.

And what's going on?

Besides the food...

Early Bird Raffle at 8:15 sharp
Discover the special chirp travel bug (available at this event only)
Travel bug/coin exchange

After breakfast caching!

Caching after an event like this is a different experience.  You'll meet new people, (sometimes over and over), you'll share your experiences with them, and sometimes make a lasting friendship.  The caches in this area are quite varied and often unique.  There are many adventures awaiting you after breakfast, so plan to make a day of it!  You won't be disappointed.  Click
