Geocache Description:

A simple, and heavenly, puzzle cache continuing the Church Micro series by Sadexploration, and also the local series of "Good..." puzzle caches recently initiated by Jazzyjessups.

Longfield Hill Mission Room

There is a small Mission Room on the village green at Longfield Hill (no longer in use) which was originally the Longfield School built in the late 19th century (In 1841 the population of Longfield was 128).

When the ‘new school’ was built in Longfield (now sold) the Longfield Hill building was sold for a private dwelling for the sum of £30. Subsequently it was bought back by the church for the sum of £40 to be used as a place of worship.

This is all the history of the building I have been able to establish. If anybody is aware of any additional information, please let me know and I will add it to the cache page.

At the time of publication the Mission Room is once again for sale as a one bedroom detached house.

The coordinates given are for the mission building. The cache is located at:-

N51 23.(142)(484)(891)
E000 20.(2800+2)(1790+3)(142+5)

Assume any 10's are zero.

The cache is a short walk from the building, and should be found easily. Note the path can be muddy.

If any body would like to expand to this series please do, I would just ask that you could let Sadexploration know first so he can keep track of the Church numbers and names to avoid duplication
