Come join us as we wish ibwacko and his family a fond farewell as
he heads to sunny Tampa, Florida for a latitude adjustment ... and
a new job! Congratulations, Jeff! We will miss you and your
geocaching family: wife Sky (Nucknfuts61), daughters Nikki
(Nikki1993) and Carrie, and sons Marcus (MetalManiac) and Jourdin.
ibwacko has been an active hider and seeker of caches, a great
friend, and an inspiration to us all.
The event will be held Saturday, February 5, 2011, at 6:00 PM.
Since Jeff and his family are going down to Florida, we thought
their going-away event should have a Florida theme. So what could
be more appropriate than Cheeseburger in
Paradise? The restaurant is located at 12361 Hornsby Lane in Newport News (a short
distance from Patrick Henry Mall).
While you're in the area, be sure to check out the many nearby
caches. There are 21 caches within one mile of the restaurant, and
8 within 1/2 mile. Feel free to bring your trackables for an
informal TB exchange.
So put on your best tropical-themed attire and come out to wish
Jeff and his family well in their new endeavors! While the event
starts at 6 PM, a few of us will be getting together about a
half-hour before the event to get the party started, so feel free
to come early if you like!
