I placed this cache in memory of my friend James Gavel, who had a motorcycle accident he never came home from on March 25, 2009. He was 23 years old and would want everyone to take away the message of motorcycle safety from his accident...and his cache.
James purchased his Sportster at Dudley Perkins Harley Davidson, which you can see the back of from the cache. He would encourage you to go check them out. They treat their customers like family and really know what they're talking about.
If you're wondering about the name of the cache, James went by a few nicknames, one including Riff Raff. He was never a cacher, but I'd like to think he'd get a kick out of having something hidden somewhere, with all kinds of people trying to find it.
The cache itself is a small cammoed container hidden on a public shore trail in an industrial area. There are several access points and parking all around. Just be careful not to park in a space belonging to one of the businesses.
The original contents of the cache are a log, Todie's Wild Ride Watch Out For Pot Holes geocoin, and a FTF prize. FTF prize is an unactivated geocoin. Happy Hunting!
