Back In Touch With Nature Cache In Trash Out Event

This cache has been archived.

Mother Wolf: Well it's time to put this 1 in the vault. Sorry we didnt get to really do anything much due to weather but Im already talking to Vicki about our visit next yr. We will get lucky 1 of these times & have great weather, although this yr was better than the freezing wind & temps last yr, up until it started to rain followed by storms at the end.
Thanks for those that spent the night & planned on staying for the CITO & for those that made the trip to end up with a few hours to cache, which isnt all that bad either.
See ya next yr. Mother Wolf

Geocache Description:

This is our 2nd Annual MAGC: CITO.

This is the 2nd half of our 2 for 1 weekend which started with the M&G with Camp Over yesterday. If you attended the Camp Over you get a smiley. If you attend the CITO you get a smiley. So if you come out for the entire time, you will have a lot of fun, do some work, eat great food & get 2 smileys. Can’t beat that can ya?

As our friendship with Chesapeake Bay Environmental Center goes into its 4th year it is time for us to help out & do some cleanup work around the center. We will be gathering up some of the fallen branches, any trash that has been left behind & clearing out some new areas.

Currently there are 17 caches, 2 new caches will be added to this count this weekend, 3 hydro caches & 2 Earth Cache & 10 benchmarks @ CBEC. DudleyGrunt will also be placing 3 OCUS caches at CBEC. CAM will be in full swing so being on the Eastern Shore will also give folks the chance to grab a CAM cache or 2 as well. There is also a Star Spangled Banner cache, included in the count, here.

CBEC will supply some of the equipment but we are asked to bring whatever we can to help. Anything from gloves to chain saws, rakes, axes & your bug spray will be great. BE SURE TO MARK YOUR ITEMS.

There is no charge to enter the park for this event.

This will be a work day so appetites will be huge. We will have the use of the big pavilion & the BBQ's & some of the food will be supplied but feel free to bring your favorite treat to share. Pot luck.

Also we ask that each person brings a piece of swag. It will be added to a big Ammo Can cache that was placed following last yrs event as a memorial/token cache for the event. We want to add to it each yr as we come back.

So don't put away those tools to far in the garage & shed. Come on out & work up an appetite, enjoy the food, the area & the fun you will all have. This will be a special event so mark your calendar for it.

After the Camp Over we will start the morning with a good breakfast. Those who won’t be able to stay with us for the day will have the chance to break camp while those folks that couldn’t stay with us for last night’s camp over will be coming to join us for our CITO event. It will give us a chance to spend a short time as 1 group while we break bread before we start working.
