This cache is located in the Peace Gardens to the rear of Tapton House, former home of George Stevenson. There are views across to Chesterfield Town Centre, and Tapton Golf Course.
Parking is available at the bottom of the hill near the playground or at the top of the hill, to the right of the house (closest to cache). There is no need to go near to the buildings to access the cache, there is a wide footpath towards the Peace Gardens if you follow the road to the top of the hill and then go right at Tapton House. You also can access the cache through the footpath in the woodland at the rear of the innovation centre, but do not enter the walled garden around that. Chesterfield Borough Council have given us permission to place this cache. Popular dog walking location.
